What does hair mean to Ms. Marcia?

“Before I was an educator, I was a cosmetologist. I watched women leave with smiles and pride in themselves because when they looked good they felt good. When I had children, I would fix their hair and remind them that they are loved, cared for, and beautiful. So hair is not just hair, but hair is someone’s personality, expression of love, and PART (not all) of our confidence.”
